With summertime coming to an end, the team decided to have a chip and dip day! We all brought in our favorite dips, either store-bought or handmade. And we all answered some chip-related questions, too! See what we brought in and some of our hot takes…

- Favorite chip flavor: paprika or fried egg flavored potato chips from a Spanish brand called Patatas Torres!
- Bag or bowl: bag
- Spiciest dip/chip you’ve eaten: not into spicy chips but the weirdest chip i’ve eaten is sparkling wine Torres chips. Not great
- What did you bring in on dip day and how’d you make it? sour cream and onion dip. i bought it!
- Hot take: plain ruffles are the superior chip. i won’t touch most chips but am always down for ruffles!

- Spiciest dip/chip you’ve eaten: i dont do spicy dip or chips
- What did you bring in on dip day and how’d you make it? restaurant style tortilla chips, Mild Pace Picante and a block of cream cheese, open cream cheese, poor salsa over it, eat and enjoy
- Hot take: hot cheetos are the worst

- Favorite chip flavor: Nacho Cheese Doritos
- Bag or bowl: Bowl
- Spiciest dip/chip you’ve eaten: I can’t remember the name of the spiciest I’ve had, but they were mango habanero chips, and they had me sweating…still finished the bag. I like spicy chips that build on the spice as you eat them, and those were at the upper limit of that.
- What did you bring in on dip day and how’d you make it? Hot Honey Feta Dip. Cream cheese, Greek yogurt, feta cheese, herbs, lemon zest, lemon juice. Mix it all till smooth. Put into a ramekin. Sprinkle with more feta. Bake for 15-ish minutes, until it’s bubbly and browning. Squeeze hot honey on top. Serve with bread, chips, naan, whatever.
- Hot take: Sour Cream is the best dip. Plain and simple.

- Bag or bowl: bowlllllll it’s way more clean
- Spiciest dip/chip you’ve eaten: habanero chilly dip
- What did you bring in on dip day and how’d you make it? Home made Turkish-Latino Ezme. I enjoy all kinds of Mediterranean dishes and flavors so I knew I had to make salsa with a little Mediterranean magic.
- Hot take: Kettle cooked is the best!

- Bag or bowl: I’d say bag.
- Spiciest dip/chip you’ve eaten: I don’t really do spicy. Some of the salsa my mom makes is super spicy, though. It gets me sweating.
- What did you bring in on dip day and how’d you make it? I brought bean dip. I don’t really do dips/sauce.
- Hot take: Chips are a much better side than fries are.

- What did you bring in on dip day and how’d you make it? Didn’t come in that day but we love to make creamy spinach dip at home. We throw some spinach in with onion, garlic, pepper, and cheese.
- Hot take: These hot chips could be dangerous for the youth if eaten unsupervised.
