Victor Lopez- SEO Specialist
What do you think of voice search right now? Even with its limitations, voice search is a powerful marketing avenue that’s only getting better.
Where do you see it going in the future? As AI continues to learn our behavior patterns, it will seamlessly integrate into our daily lives. We’ve already seen great improvement from the early days of virtual assistants to now, so the next five years will (hopefully) be crazy.
How do you think the growing popularity of voice search will change your work? Voice search will make it more important for SEOs to clearly dictate what each page is about, otherwise you lose the possibility of your page even being shown to users.
Do you use voice search or virtual home assistants now? I really only use voice search when I’m doing long searches because too lazy to type it. The only time I use it 100% of the time is when I’m asking for directions.
Jason Martinez- Marketing Coordinator
What do you think of voice search right now? It’s still in its beginning stages, much like how Google search started.
Where do you see it going in the future? In the future, I see it integrating with everything in our lives, whether it’s doctor’s appointments or our current jobs. It’ll help us stay on task and juggle all of our to-do items at once.
How do you think the growing popularity of voice search will change your work? It’s going to further stress the importance of having an SEO team and having someone dedicated to making sure you’re at the top of the search results and getting featured snippets. Quality link building and good SEO will continue to be as important as ever.
Do you use voice search or virtual home assistants now? Not really.
Mariah Muller- Content Manager
What do you think of voice search right now? I don’t use it very often right now because it almost makes things less convenient. As it gets better, I’ll probably start using it more.
Where do you see it going in the future? I see it becoming more and more ubiquitous. I think eventually, almost every part of our life will involve voice or virtual assistants.
How do you think the growing popularity of voice search will change your work? Because it changes the nature of people’s searches, specifically the phrasing, it’s definitely going to affect the way we use keywords and the types of keywords we use and include in our content. Figuring out how to use query-based phrases in content without sounding too forced or unnatural is always interesting.
Do you use voice search or virtual home assistants now? No. Every time I’ve tried it, it’s misunderstood me and made things more complicated.
