Life Stuff

What do you do at RMG: I’m a Jr. SEO Marketing Specialist which means that I work on helping client pages rank higher on Google through on page optimizations.

Favorite thing about your job: I really like the people that I work with and it’s extra rewarding when I see my work pay off and client pages do well.

What was your first job: My first job was at a grocery store and I actually worked there through the pandemic! It taught me a lot in terms of patience and customer service skills.

In elementary school, what did you want to be when you grew up: I remember having an assignment where we had to draw ourselves in the future with jobs. I drew myself as a paleontologist but I wrote philanthropist because I mixed up the titles.

What is your earliest memory: My earliest memory is of climbing the staircase at my old home and getting my head caught in the railing because I wanted to see if I could stick my head through to look downstairs.

What’s your favorite family tradition: My mom, sister, and I like to make pork and cabbage potstickers in large batches to freeze and it normally ends up taking the majority of the day. We typically cook and fold the potstickers while watching a favorite show or having a movie marathon day.

What is a fun or interesting thing about your hometown: My hometown is known for the beach and a lot of celebrities like to visit the town and pier area.

Food Stuff

What is your favorite cereal: I don’t eat cereal as much anymore but I used to be obsessed with Lucky Charms and keep a giant box in my high school locker for convenient snacking. Now I normally cook something and make a matcha drink for breakfast.

How do you like your eggs: Scrambled with provolone cheese, spinach, and mushrooms–all on a toasted croissant!

What is your go-to Starbucks order: Grande pink drink with two scoops of matcha and light ice! I found this through someone else’s order, and I thought it sounded good, so I just copied and discovered my go-to order 🙂

If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life what would it be: Probably lasagna because I love cheese and there are a decent amount of variations out there.

Favorite Stuff

Favorite band/musician: I am a hugeeee music lover so I listen to all kinds of music, but right now I’m into groovy/vibey music and my top 5 artists would have to be Remi Wolf, John OFA Rhee, Still Woozy, Ambar Lucid, and The Marías.

Studio Ghibli Exhibit

Favorite movie: I’ve probably watched About Time and Sweeney Todd many many times. I’m also a huge fan of anything from Studio Ghibli, especially Howl’s Moving Castle.

Favorite actor/actress: Florence Pugh is my absolute favorite actress and has been since 2019. The runner-ups would have to be Gemma Chan, Anya Taylor-Joy, and Helena Bonham Carter.

Favorite sports team: I honestly don’t know the first thing about sports, but I love stadium food!

Favorite TV show: My go-to TV show is New Girl or How I Met Your Mother to have in the background, but I’m currently working my way through One Piece … slowly but surely. Some other favorites are SpyxFamily, Hell’s Paradise, Chainsaw Man, and Death Parade.

Favorite superpower: I think that the best superpower would be teleportation because I could travel anywhere I want in the world. Imagine traveling in Europe by day, and sleeping at home at night! You wouldn’t have to worry about housing accommodations and could travel wherever you want.

Favorite social media network: I definitely spend the most time on Instagram out of all the social media platforms, and I occasionally use Snapchat.

Top three favorite apps: Instagram, Spotify, and Netflix

Hobby & Travel Stuff

What are your hobbies: I really enjoy cooking, building legos, spending time with friends, and going to concerts. I’m also a really big foodie and love trying new places and cafes.

What is the nerdiest thing you do in your spare time: I’d say that the nerdiest thing about me is that I watch a lot of anime / kdramas and read a lot of webtoons/manhua. They’re just so good, and I love reading all the stories with amazing artwork.

Can you play any instruments: Voice (singing), piano, mallet instruments, and percussion instruments in general. I grew up in a very musical household and have been singing since I was little and put in many various music programs.

OC Fair With Friends

Do you collect anything: Pressed pennies! They’re cheap and don’t take up too much space. I also collect blind boxes (my favorites are Hirono & Dimoo), and I keep all the wristbands from every concert or event I go to.

What are the last three books you read: Minor Feelings: An Asian American Reckoning by Cathy Park Hong, Crying in H Mart by Michelle Zauner, and Atomic Habits by James Clear

Most recent vacation: I recently went to Las Vegas with my extended family to go to the RISE Lantern Festival. It was such an amazing experience and, as a collective, hundreds of lanterns were released into the night sky (they are collected after the event to avoid littering) with live music and food vendors.

RISE Lantern Festival

What’s your favorite city/state/country you’ve ever visited: The Summer after I graduated high school, I took a trip to Europe, staying with family, and got to explore Amsterdam. I saw a whole cheese market in Alkmaar, ate Schnitzel, and went hiking in Switzerland!

Random Stuff

If you could have dinner with one person, alive or dead, who would it be: Florence Pugh. Without a single doubt, I would love to have dinner with Florence Pugh.

At which store would you like to max out your credit card: Amazon! There are so many options, and I’d be able to get everything that I’ve ever wanted in terms of skincare, snacks, and clothes. There’s also Amazon Fresh, so I’d be able to get all the groceries I want.
Do you have any strange phobias: I’d say that most of my phobias are pretty common: spiders, heights, and the ocean (specifically far into the ocean/dark or deep bodies of water)

Amazon Event

Have you ever met anyone famous: I was an Amazon Prime Student ambassador/campus manager and got invited to an event in LA that had a lot of influencers there. But I didn’t get the chance to talk to any of them.

If you could pick up a new skill in an instant, what would it be: Adobe Suite or being fluent in Mandarin, French, and German. I’ve always loved languages and aspire to be fluent in as many languages as possible.

If you could choose one age to be forever, what would it be: I would want to be 26 because I feel like I’ll have enough figured out by then while still being able to go out and have fun with friends before we are all too busy with other things going on.

What characteristic do you like most about yourself: I like that I am often quick to pick up on something if I put my mind to it. I love learning new things, especially when I am able to figure something out on my own.

Have you had your 15 minutes of fame yet: Nope! I also don’t think that I’d want all that attention and judgment on me.
